Unmasking the Unscientific Reality of Mainstream Wing Chun Chi Sao

Scientific analysis suggests that traditional Wing Chun practitioners may find their theories and techniques ineffective against individuals with different behavioral patterns. This post sheds light on the absence of scientific backing for Chi Sao practice. Upon viewing the accompanying video, you're encouraged to attempt the following experiment while wearing protective gear.

This is what mainstream Wing Chun Chi Sao looks like.

Now, run an experiment like in this video (below) to test the mainstream Chi Sao..

Experiment Objective: Assess the applicability of mainstream Wing Chun's stickiness, sensitivity, and techniques on non-mainstream practitioners who exhibit distinct behavior, devoid of artificial elements.

Setup: Enlist a prominent mainstream Wing Chun practitioner (preferably a well-known master) to engage in Chi Sao sessions with 10 fighters and untrained individuals.

1) Initiate Chi Sao hand movements. Non-mainstream practitioners should refrain from complying, merely extending their hands for the Wing Chun practitioner to interact with.

2) The non-mainstream Wing Chun fighter should engage in unhindered, light attacks without hesitation (attack randomly).

You should observe something like in this video.

The next video isn't about Chi Sao but it still shows that the "fanciful" techniques of mainstream Wing Chun can't be applied on someone who doesn't have the same mainstream Wing Chun behaviour.

Yet, Smart Research Wing Chun techniques could work against a Karate practitioner. And our guy was briefly trained in Smart Research Wing Chun. He was practicing Karate.

This shows that Smart Research Wing Chun is indeed authentic and scientific.

Conclusion: Chi Sao appears effective within the community due to shared unscientific behaviors, fostering synchronization and impressive displays. However, the purported sensitivity fails to translate to interactions with individuals (normal people who don't do mainstream Wing Chun) exhibiting diverse actions. Consequently, this martial art lacks validity, practicality, and scientific basis, reinforcing the observations of Smart Research.

Although I don't have an actual video of the correct Chi Sao here, when it's done correctly, it should look like this (this isn't a video about Chi Sao): Smart Research Wing Chun's continuous flow of hard striking and blocking
