What Did Others Say About Wing Chun?

Image
There were many chunners who tried to defend their mainstream Wing Chun when I exposed and debunked it; and they made it sound like I was the only one who misunderstood it because I wasn't well trained in it. Now, let's see what remarks other people had made about mainstream Wing Chun practitioners.  Video source  The first step to correct your mistake is to be aware of your mistake and accept the fact that it is a mistake. Then, do something to rectify it. Get Smart Research Wing Chun to correct your Wing Chun hand techniques by clicking here.

Wing Chun Is Dead

What's my message to all chunners? Wing Chun is permanently dysfunctional, dead and/or lost. And this may be verified scientifically (by physiologists). Not even my solution can restore Wing Chun completely. Eventually, everyone must give it up because this is a dysfunctional martial art. Even if you practiced it for 1000 years, you would still be lousier than someone who had practiced boxing or other Chinese martial arts for a few months. https://youtu.be/-2O_Dsr0EaE?si=uyyDdwb9jvY5ezB2 Wing Chun out of the window.

What Is Artificial, Unnatural, Unscientific and Impractical?

Image
What is artificial, unnatural , unscientific, and impractical? This. This thing didn't exist in the original version of Wing Chun. Wing Chun has devolved into a pseudoscience martial art because the practitioners think such a thing had existed in the original Wing Chun. Artificial, unscientific, unnatural, and impractical. Would ancient fighters invent and do these things or did some people who misinterpreted Wing Chun techniques invented these? 1) Feel the structure. https://fb.watch/nHWRGzIdzH/ --- 2) Yuen Kay San Chi Sao. https://fb.watch/nI_E1nGfeA/ This is unscientific because both parties have distorted bodies.  --- 3) Overlapped hand. This is a compromised position. The guy on the right could easily grab his wrist and do a rear cross if he wasn't a mainstream Wing Chun practitioner. The reason why that guy on the right was unable to do that was because his body and behaviour had been conditioned to do unscientific Wing Chun techniques; he wasn't used to move in a log

When Do You Use These Wing Chun Techniques?

And Chunners say Chi Sao isn't for fighting... Then when do you use these techniques when you are doing kickboxing or MMA Wing Chun? Wing Chun Sparring: Is Sparring in Kickboxing Style with Big Gloves Helpful or Unhelpful?

Isaiah R. Harris asked me whether I had any video of me sparring in gloves to share and I replied him no. I feel that my reply is important to mainstream Wing Chun practitioners, so I'm posting it here. "I don't. In fact, big gloves sparring isn't compatible with ancient arts because ancient arts don't have kickboxing posture whereby the arms are in a retracted position. And if you put on such gloves while doing a Bai Jeong, the weight of the gloves will affect your ability to do Wing Chun techniques. You guys are training mindlessly without a scientific mindset." Mainstream Wing Chun Techniques: Are They Functional? Part 2

This video exposes the lack of scientific validity in mainstream Wing Chun techniques. Who believes these methods are effective? - Executing Tan and punch like this leaves you vulnerable; your opponent can easily counter. - Even if your punch reaches the face or chest, it lacks power, allowing your opponent a swift retaliation. Mainstream Wing Chun Techniques: Are They Functional?

Image
A picture is worth a thousand words. Chunners mindlessly believe that their techniques are scientific and workable. Let's examine the Tan Sao and Wu Sao in detail. The arrows represent strikes: punches and hooks. - The Tan Sao and Wu Sao don't have adequate firmness to block a punch to the chest. - The Tan is not covering the centre . And you can't block a hook like that. You can't protect your chest or face. What is this about? What are you blocking? - If a punch lands on the Wu, it will collapse because it is  weak . And the punch may hit the chest or hurt your fingers or hand. What kind of self-defence is this? Are other Chinese martial arts like this too? No. You can't block meaningfully with mainstream Wing Chun. And this is also happening to other WSL practitioners. Which WSL WC practioner can really use his Tan Sao to block a strike meaningfully and effectively? There's an opening around your chest area (if you are only using Tan). And ch

Chi Martial Art and Mainstream Wing Chun

What's common between this and mainstream Wing Chun? They work among themselves but don't work on outsiders. (Chi Sao stuff can't work on non-mainstream people) https://fb.watch/nqoqAXPYjj Imagine these guys copying the excuses of mainstream Wing Chun practitioners: 1) This isn't for fighting; it's just a drill. 2) You learn the energy and principles; it's not for fighting. (Mainstream Wing Chun practitioners would say you learn the energy, sensitivity, structure and principles; it's not for fighting.) 3) It's enhancing my BJJ and Muay Thai when I grapple and clinch. I can sense the energy and manipulate it. (Mainstream Wing Chun practitioners would claim that it could enhance their sensitivity while clinching and grappling) 4) They win fights with MMA and give credit to this Chi martial art. (MMA Wing Chun practitioners give credit to their mainstream Wing Chun) If everyone comes up with these excuses, then Chinese Kung Fu is doomed. Mainstream Wing Chu

Unscientific Mainstream Wing Chun Chi Sao

Image
These two photos expose the errors of mainstream Wing Chun. Many people fail to notice the problems of this mainstream Chi Sao. Their arms are soft, overlapping their own hands and technically tying up their own hands. How can this possibly be useful for self-defense? Your opponent can simply grab your wrist and beat you up with another hand like a boxer. Even an untrained guy can beat you up if you immobilize yourself in this awkward and compromised position. The Revelations of Wing Chun

This is a response to chunners who are doubting the findings of Smart Research. Spread this message to everyone you know. I shall tell you what's happening to this mainstream Wing Chun.  1) The Misconception and corruption of Wing Chun instruction probably happened before Ip Man and his cohort learned it. That means everyone was already doing it incorrectly and unscientifically. How did it happen? Maybe too few people were learning it unlike other Chinese martial arts, so when someone misinterpreted the techniques, few or no one could correct them because not many people knew how the correct version was like. 2) After Bruce Lee became famous, people mindlessly believed in the efficacy although reality showed that it wasn't workable and chunners seemed strange - they had awkward bodies. 3) I noticed the techniques were weird throughout my training but I kept exploring and thought that maybe I was wrong. 4) Then, I realised although different lineages did certain technique
